Whether you are a producer, engineer, label or publishing rep, or a songwriter / artist, you may share the desire for live drums on a project. The sound of demo recordings have become increasingly important; It's not just about the songs anymore. Many people want to hear that "live band" sound. That's where I come in.

My current clients include folks just like you who are looking for a human to lay down the grooves for their tracks, rather than mechanical programmed loops. Why program when you can get the real thing for cheaper? Live drums increase the quality of your music and can really bring a song to life, setting it apart from a sea of programmed demos.

• Prepare your scratch tracks (at least an acoustic guitar or keyboard and vocal).
• Make sure that your scratch tracks have your desired song form, and think of any reference songs so that I will have an idea of the feel and sounds you're going for.
• Depending on your budget and choice, I will record the songs from start to finish a number of times in my studio.
• I will send you a download link of the 10-12 .wav files for you to import into your song.
• If you need a stereo mix instead of the split tracks, please note that in the Getting Started form.
• Payment can be made via Paypal or check. I will need to receive payment before posting the tracks for download.

Demo Quality -

• Drumset:
  • $75 includes 2 complete takes from beginning to end.
  • $125 includes 2 complete takes with Beat Detective timing software and basic editing on the drums (this is a must if you need to add loops over the drums and you aren't able to edit them yourself).
• Additional Percussion:
  • $25 per additional layer of percussion per song.
• Need Something More / Different?
  • We can figure it out, just put a note in the "special instructions" of the Getting Started form.
• Turn-Around Time
  • It takes approximately 3-7 days from the time I receive the song to cut the tracks and make them available for download. Any changes or retakes will be worked out additionally.

Master Session -

• Drumset:
  • $200 includes 2 complete takes from beginning to end in a Master sound quality studio.
  • $250 includes 2 complete takes with Beat Detective timing software and basic editing on the drums.
• Additional Percussion:
  • $25 per additional layer of percussion per song.
• Turn-Around Time
  • It takes approximately 2 weeks from the time I receive the song to cut the tracks and make them available for download. Any changes or retakes will be worked out additionally.

• Need a full rhythm section? Drums, Bass, Guitars, or keys? Need all of the above? Excellent. I'd be happy to provide a quote for a full band. The musicians I recruit for my projects are all talented and experienced players.
• Need the project mixed? Maybe you have the song, and that's all you have. No problem. Depending on your musical style and budget, I can recruit an engineer that would be a great fit for your project.
